July 22nd is truly a day of infamy for two reasons. In 1923 the Hollywood sign in the hills above tinseltown was officially dedicated (originally it read Hollywoodland).
But even more importantly this was the day in 1959 that Ed Wood premiered his "masterpiece" Plan 9 From Outer Space. Now that's historic!!
